I have 2 skr 1.4 turbo boards and before I switched to klipper I always updated my firmware using the firmware updater plug in for octoprint. On the github page it guided you through setup for that board family. https://plugins.octoprint.org/plugins/firmwareupdater/

I followed the install instructions from this link. I installed the python 3 compatible version of heat shrink.

There's also apparently an OctoPrint plugin for updating your firmware directly from OctoPrint. I don't use OctoPrint, so I can't tell you how well it works or what sort of feedback it gives.

I wouldn't say that. As soon as we can see a justifiable interest, we (the obico team) hope to deliver a board with an easily installable image for OctoPrint, ideally using the raspberry pi imager, within a month or so.

It's the Obico mobile app. It's available for iOS and Android and it works with OctoPrint and Klipper. (full disclosure, I am a team member at Obico).

The mobile app is Obico (on iOS and android) which lets you monitor the printer from anywhere and has Ai failure detection. (For transparency, I am one of the team members at Obico)
