Telegram FOSS, Nekogram X or Forkgram? And privacy concerns!
I've been using Telegram FOSS for Android for a while, installed from F-Droid, but I see it's a bit slow in merging recent Telegram versions and so to get added on F-Droid, besides I discovered NekoX and Forkgram having so many additional features I'd like to have.

Snapdrop.net is one of many examples of the uses for this API, using it with WebSocket API allows endpoints on the same local network to distribute files and send data between them. We can find the source code for the project here.

FOSS apps to send files between Android and iOS?
Snapdrop - Since it has a web version, this was the only file transfer solution that I actually tested with people outside of my social circle. At least half the time, it's a gamble whether it will work or not. The connection tends to drop in the middle of the process. I've tried both the app and the web version, but unfortunately, neither of them is reliable enough to save me from the awkward glances of those who want to help me by sending notes, video presentations, and other materials.
