Oh my bad, I haven't done this before, I meant if this decrypter (https://github.com/cryptonek/widevine-l3-decryptor) or any other alternative will work on disney+ hotstar, the reason I asked is because of hotstar being combined with d+ in india unlike in the west where d+ is standalone

If it's encrypted with Widevine-DRM, you can use Widevine L3 Decryptor with widevine-dl. With link to MPD i could help you better

Is there any new way to rip from Disney+? I was too late to the ripping game because now that the Widevine Decryptor has seized development, I cannot find a way to rip. Is there anything i'm missing or is it all just private methods? I'm just looking to get some content on my plex server.
