bob VS nvim-notify

That depends on the debian stable repo what version of Neovim they provide. My suggestion would be to check out bob, which as far as I'm concerned it's the easiest way of installing Neovim and gives you the ability to switch between stable and nightly.

I personally use bob, ($ cargo install bob-nvim), and it's been great for ease of version management, including nightly

Honest just use bob on non-bleeding edge distro

current stable is 0.8.3 maybe try the unstable ppa or appimage or bob.nvim

If you want to peek at it now, you could try a neovim version manager like bob... https://github.com/MordechaiHadad/bob I've been using it recently and it makes experimenting with new stuff a bit easier. Then if you run into issues you can switch back to a stable release. I'm considering doing a video on this too since I think it would be helpful to some... and I don't think it's very well known

Personally I have both the previous and latest stables installed (mostly for testing plugin contributions), as well as a script that builds nightly . If you didn't know, they include prebuilt assets on the releases page, or you can use bob, in case your distro falls behind.

If you have nvim-notify installed, it will use the plugin to display so notifications

For an enhanced UI/UX experience, it is recommended to install the nvim-notify plugin as well. This is an optional dependency, and tsc.nvim will work without it.

Using nvim-notify - I have a slightly customized config which makes it easier to see where messages are "coming" from.

Get notified when the tests are finished. (great with nvim-notify)

Using nvim-notify for that pretty pop up to remind me to calm down and find proper keys to navigate :)
