If you don't know, you can find recent mod developments in #mod-updates on the Discord server. ModFinder indexes GitHub mods, except it only runs on Windows, but you can read through its manifest.

First of all if you're playing on PC you can install Tabletop Tweaks suite (Core, Base and Mythic Rework) mods that allows you to always one hand weapons to keep off-hand free. Modfinder is probably the simplest way to do it.

Also I just remembered how vague Owlcat's wiki can be at times. Wolfie's and Kurufinve's guides can be more helpful. Join #mod-dev-technical in the discord if you have any questions!
