Intel NUC1165 with EGPU
Very long story short - the only way I was able to get it to work without BSOD was to install the latest Canary build of Win11. I used this tool: Offline Insider Enroll because I'm running a bootcamp partition on an intel macbook pro. I also needed to use this tool to bypass the TPM check because the macbook pro is not officially supported: Skip TPM Check on Dynamic Update.

Thanks to Rufus I use Win11 Dev on an unsupported PC, but Windows Update now shows me this dialog box after reaching a download percentage to get the new build for the Dev channel. What can I do to bypass this dialog box and continue with the download?
What I did try before uploading this post, was to use the famous mediacreationtool script from aveyo, and the script seemed to work as Windows Update downloaded and installed the update, but after logging in I found that my build number was still the same.

Is there a way to make windows 10 dile explorer look like windows 11?
You can try this. https://github.com/AveYo/MediaCreationTool.bat/tree/main/bypass11
- 10 years of service. Not only still working perfectly, but now updated to W11, like a charm.

What cpu is this?? Bought it off an auction and no markings are on the chip itself. It’s supposed to be a 12700f.
Extensive documentation can be found here https://github.com/AveYo/MediaCreationTool.bat

Can't update to Windows 11 (even though I can)
3.Lastly, download the https://github.com/AveYo/MediaCreationTool.bat and run the MediaCreationTool.bat-main\bypass11\Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmd

21H2-22H2 update successful using RUFUS on unsupported hardware (2010 Alienware m11x-r1). Probably would have eventually shown up, as this laptop was in the Insider Dev channel until the system reqs bumped it out to Release channel only, but it has continued to receive updates. Runs like a champ!
https://github.com/AveYo/MediaCreationTool.bat/blob/main/bypass11/Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmd combined with https://github.com/abbodi1406/offlineinsiderenroll will get you back into Dev channel regardless of your specs

PC shipments saw their largest decline ever last quarter
It's pretty trivial to upgrade to Windows 11 even with hardware that doesn't meet their requirements. Easiest way is to use https://github.com/coofcookie/Windows11Upgrade/releases/ or https://github.com/pbatard/rufus

After using betas/full version of Windows 11 for months, Windows 10 feels like a huge upgrade.
I even upgraded with keeping my apps and data from Win 10 even though my laptop is unsupported by using this tool: https://github.com/coofcookie/Windows11Upgrade

Windows 11 Upgrade tool that bypasses Microsoft´s requirements
Interesting. If I understand correctly, the bypass is https://github.com/coofcookie/Windows11Upgrade/blob/1.0.0/Wi... which appears to be a copy of https://github.com/AveYo/MediaCreationTool.bat/blob/main/MCT... which appears to be intentionally cryptic.
It appears to set HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup\AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU=1 which is mentioned by Microsoft in https://support.microsoft.com/windows/ways-to-install-window... so it may be a reasonable option.
However, I don't understand what the rest of the script is doing and would be hesitant to run this on my systems. Could someone who understands the trick explain what it's doing?
Ie. https://github.com/coofcookie/Windows11Upgrade/commit/018354ac8c85eab6d1e9f8c113b475875beb593b
That’s exactly what this uses under the hood
