Newly Built HDR Flashcarts In Aluminum Shells
Thanks! The shells are from Boxy Pixel and the labels are from etsy. The repository for the cart is here. They require a donor cart (this case both were Japanese Pokemon Silver) and proper soldering skills but they work and look great!

Classic DMGC
It’s a pretty difficult build and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re not proficient and skilled at soldering SMT components. You can find all the info on his GitHub: https://github.com/MouseBiteLabs/Game-Boy-DMG-Color

For all the Hardware modding-inclined, what mod are you most proud of doing?
For anyone wondering what mine is, it’s a DMGC, an alternative motherboard for the Gameboy Color made by Bucket Mouse that is meant to fit inside the shell of a DMG (the classic Brick Gameboy). It’s got a ton of cool features, but it’s obviously really difficult to make since it requires removing and resoldering the CPU and RAM of the Gameboy Color onto it, alongside a bunch of other tiny components. In return, it’s got compatibility with using 4 AA’s for double the average battery life of a IPS modded Gameboy Color, the option to add Tactile switches for the face buttons and LED buttons, and it by default is supposed to use an IPS screen, so it’s backlit. I spent so long working on this, and although there was trouble that required help from another modder, I’m still genuinely proud to have made it.
