Urgent help!!!!the thing is I modded my 2ds and while placing the sd card I placed it in opposite direction and the console won’t read the card anymore and without the boot file on the sd the console is bricked what can I do???
Solution? Get any compatible, temporary SD card and put the latest Luma3DS files on it -- it's just two files! boot.3dsx and boot.firm

So every time I do this exploit in the video below, it keeps giving me this screen. I followed the video instructions so I’m not sure what to do.
Download the latest version of luma3ds from here, extract the zip and copy boot.firm to your microsd card and see what happens. You should have version 12.1.

I'm confused about updating my luma/home brew for 3DS. I'm on version 11.0. Do I need to delete all of my previous mod files and mod my whole 3DS again to get version 12.0.1?
I can't speak to why Universal-Updater doesn't show the latest version of Luma3DS available for download and installation, but you can update Luma3DS to the latest version yourself manually quite easily as explained in my first reply. Have no worries, you didn't mess anything up.

Can I update?
If you're on Custom Firmware, you just need to download the latest version of Luma3DS (the Luma3DSv12.0.1.zip file) and extract the boot.firm and boot.3dsx to the root of your SD card. That's it.

Anyone able to help walk me through how to update this

Question about checkpoint and cheats
https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/wiki/Cheat-Engine , makes sense
If you want to try and add your own cheats follow this guide https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/wiki/Cheat-Engine

Bricked?
Basically your 3ds is hacked and that is why youre getting this screen. Most common thing is a missing the sd card. Check if there is an sd card in there or get one and then put this file on the root of the card. Report back to see if that fixes the problem.

can I swap a fully jailbroken 3ds sd card to a non jailbroken 3ds
CONTINUE HERE IF YOU ARE TRANSFERRING OR CLONING - Use this link https://github.com/ihaveamac/faketik/releases/tag/v1.1.2 and download the .3dsx file. Put it on the target systems sd in the '3ds' folder on the root. This is because any homebrew applications or backups of your own games won't appear on home menu. This app makes them reappear. Remove the target system sd and put it back in target console. - Turn on console and open 'Download Play'. - Once on the selection screen for 3DS or DS, press 'Left Shoulder' + 'D-Pad Down' + 'Select' at the same time to open Rosalina menu - Select 'Miscellaneous Options' - Select 'Switch the hb. title to the current app' then 'B' to continue. Continue to press 'B' until you exist Rosalina menu - Press 'Home' to exit download play then press 'X' to close it fully - Re-open 'Download Play' and you should boot into 'Homebrew Launcher' instead - Open faketik and it will automatically restore any homebrew applications and backups from games you own to the home menu - Press 'Home' or 'B' to exit back to 'Homebrew Launcher' -Press 'Home' to return to the 3ds menu and all the will be restored. They will be in alphabetical order and not how they were organised on source console. Re-sort them and you are complete

- HI guys. just bought a modded 3ds and it got a few game but today I tried to install some more but now it doesn't show up anything anymore

All titles have disappeared?
Now, as for one possible solution, you can download faketik (here), also, download the .3dsx, as you probably won't get the program to appear if you install it as a .cia, drop it on wherever your other .3dsx files are (like "3ds").
