Kooha VS maid

Kooha, no matter what setting i change, gives me a recording with frozen images, i opened an issue in their Github, but it's been a week and no support https://github.com/SeaDve/Kooha/issues/242 And looking at the frequency of updates, the project looks unmaintained.

And, just to be sure: there exist "Kooha" simple screen recorder. Are you sure that you don't use it and instead use built-in gnome recorder that you can access at top panel? I’ve not attempted this, but in researching what you could do… you can use Maid to check each metadata XML file for various criteria:

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is https://github.com/benjaminoakes/maid. But the rules are created in Ruby which is not really easy for some users. And as far as I know there is no graphical user interface.

On Mac there is (was?) Hazel, the closest thing on Linux is tfeldmann/organize: The file management automation tool., it uses Python. An alternative would be benjaminoakes/maid: Be lazy. Let Maid clean up after you, based on rules you define. Think of it as "Hazel for hackers"., but it uses Ruby, which I don't know.
