Best way to wirelessly and automatically sync PDFs?
If you already have a self-hosted NextCloud instance or you already have a Google or Box account, you can use KoboCloud: https://github.com/fsantini/KoboCloud
-
Kobo need to implement wireless file transfer
How about trying one of these other cloud services if you don’t like Dropbox? https://github.com/fsantini/KoboCloud
-
Ploter - Cloud Ebook Reader
However, there is already a tool that downloads epubs from a Dropbox / Gdrive folder https://github.com/fsantini/KoboCloud I can't say that I've tried it though.

Kobo doesn't show up when connected via USB
Hi everyone, I'm using a Kobo Clara HD and I was trying to install KoboCloud on my device. I completed every step shown in their github page and the procedure seemed to have succeced, anyway when I tried to connect it via USB my OS (Ubuntu in this case) didn't show the device. Since this thing has already happened to me (and previosly this day the very same USB connection worked just fine) I thought that the Kobo needed a factory reset, but even after that nothing changed. So I started panicking and tried with different cables and OS (I tried Win and a Live version of Ubuntu), I even went for a factory reset with DevModeOn (this restore the firmware version to the first one), same issue. I'm seriously starting to worring now because I rely, for the entirity of my readings, on the imported e-books. If you have any suggestion (whether solving the problem or just bypassing it) you would save my life!! Thank you in advance for your time.

Is there any possibility to have Dropbox onto Clara 2e?
I think KoboCloud will work.
-
Does Kobo have cloud storage for storing books?
Elipsa, Sage, and Forma have Dropbox synching for sideloading content. You can also add Dropbox and other cloud services to other models via KoboCloud.

Loading files onto Kobo Libra H2O with Kobo Desktop or Dropbox?

kobo libra 2 - how can i send books to it wirelessley?
https://github.com/fsantini/KoboCloud I use this to sync with my google drive. So I just drop new book into my google drive and my Kobo will download it automatically. It works for a bunch of online drive like Dropbox etc

My remarkable arrives today. Which hacks do you recommend?
Although RCU has a virtual printer, for printing from any system application, this can also be accomplished by installing evidlo/remarkable_printer. It is a fantastic piece of software that turns your tablet into a network printer, so you don't have to rely on reMarkable's limited and flaky plugins.
-
Save / Print any web page / PDF and send automatically to Remarkable2 without need of the sync account
There is evidlo/remarkable_print, too, which gets installed to the tablet and makes it act as a network printer.

Print to reMarkable?
I use this: https://github.com/Evidlo/remarkable_printer

Request: share your setup that doesn't rely on rM servers
Print to rM - I love using this, such as when I need to read a pdf for a class, documentation, or even a news article. Just set it up depending on your OS, and then print from browser/file explorer or whatever program, to your rM. You can find it here.
-
Copy screenshot from PC to remarkable?
This works well. All you need to do is get something in PDF or PNG format then "print to reMarkable". Literally takes like 2-3 seconds on average, maybe 10 seconds if laggy network.
-
How is it after using for several months? Worth it?
printing to my reMarkable

reMarkable Mondays: Week 1
A very creatively done workflow for sure. A tip I would perhaps use, permitting your work computer allows it is Print to reMarkable. I haven't set it up as I use rM Cloud but it does look pretty unobtrusive and promising. Seems more like you're just adding a bog standard printer to your list than any extra software.

I built a print plugin for Windows.
Evidlo/remarkable_print is a great piece of software that lets you print directly from Windows to the reMarkable. It installs to the reMarkable, so it's not a plugin installed in the PC, so the tablet will appear as a regular printer on your network and there is zero extra software required on any PC. You can print to the tablet from any operating system, from any program.

Send docs (PDF, EPUB, MOBI) via mail.
I use this extension https://github.com/Evidlo/remarkable_printer which let me print documents to RM. I’ve added a printer to my work PC and print Word-documents to read.
