Whisky is no longer actively maintained

From what I understand, Whisky only works with macOS Sonoma and Sequoia anyway.
Kegworks [1] works with Mavericks and Ventura, and WineBottler before that.

OpenRA – Classic strategy games rebuilt for the modern era
I've just finished both campaigns (and moving on to Firestorm!) on my M1 Macbook by running the game through https://www.portingkit.com/ .
It guides you through installation and wraps the game in Wine and other layers as its own .Application for running on both arm or intel macs.
Also see https://github.com/Kegworks-App/Kegworks (the upstream tech leveraged by Porting Kit) which i've used for various modern games to great effect.

Running Windows Programs on Mac (Wineskin)
I used Wineskin to port them both to MacOS and the https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-run-windows-apps-on-your-mac web page as a guide. I just used a regular windows .ico file to change the icon in the guide. Somehow converting the .ico as it is stated in the guide did not work for me. You can download Wineskin Winery from (https://github.com/Gcenx/WineskinServer) and use manual installation. They both needed .NET framework. That was easy with the Winetricks to find the .NET frameworks under DLL section and then run them. 1st program needed to access network shares in the domain but the link was in windows format (\\ServerName\ShareName\Folder).

Horizon: Zero Dawn slo-mo
Can anyone demonstrate to me how to fix the slo-mo issue in Horizon: Zero Dawn that slows down the game speed. I am aware of the GitHub article here: https://github.com/Gcenx/WineskinServer/issues/424 although I am unaware of how to perform the registry tasks that is required to fix the issue.

Any way to run .exe files on Mac?
I use this wrapper for WINE. That it "doesn't seem to work" when you use what you've installed from the command line doesn't tell us much. What did you do after installing it? What happened?

Easy way to pirate/bypass Parallels 14-day trials on Mac M1 and other versions.
Download this parallels launcher: https://github.com/lihaoyun6/PD-Runner/releases/tag/0.3.5. If you don't know how to use GitHub just scroll to the the bottom and click PD-Runner_v0.3.5_Universal2.dmg under the 'Assets'. You don't really need the other 2 links. I have been using this for 3 months now and it has no viruses so its ok.

You can uuse Parallels even after Trial has expired with this tutorial.
1 – Download the installer from the website, and install it 2- Activate the trial version 2a – If you already have your trial expired, change the computer Date to prior the first time you installed Parallels. (Before the trial ou sometime during the trial time) 3- Now download PD Runner and install it. ( https://github.com/lihaoyun6/PD-Runner ) 4- PD Runner must be running before you open Parallels. 5- Once thats done you can change back the Date or keep using it as trial, after expire the trial PD runner will keep working and you will be able to use Parallels.
