Haha, I did not expect people to be interested in the script u/Ramiferous u/furycd001 here it is: link. It's a bit outdated at this point as I have hacked on it a bit more. I will say that it is not robust at all; it is very much ad hoc so you guys will likely need to make edits for your setups. A key thing to note is that I use xnotify instead of dunst/libnotify, so you will most likely want to replace the printf statements. I am tempted to go back to dunst just for the pango formatting...
