You can get even more FPS, if you’re not using any other mod (besides optifine), you can install Fabric in multimc and iris shaders which installs sodium.

Lightweight/Vanilla looking shaders for Iris Shaders 1.17.1?
In order to get customization options to work with Iris (they're not in the main version yet), you'll need the Starline branch version of Iris and Sodium.

You need their own version of both Iris and sodium, though. Download their sodium fork here: https://github.com/HyperCubeMC/sodium-fabric/actions
