Just download an old version of Minecraft Bedrock from some shady site, your game will still work fine on servers and worlds. (only download Horion from https://horion.download/ most of the other downloads are BTC miners and viruses) (GitHub page is safe too https://github.com/horionclient/Horion )

Alternatively, you can research a bit to see if the client is open source such as Horion, then you don't have to try to hack it to modify it.

Making hexl-mode like file editor for custom binary file format.
I am working on an NBT parser for Minecraft and I wanted to test my implementation. There is an official test file, but that one is far from code coverage and I had since tried to find the best way to create my own files. These are some examples (ignore .bin files).
