Any alternative to Thunderstore Mod Manager?
Isn't thunderstore mod manager just a reskin of the open source r2modman?

Valheim Rollback
I hear great things about R2Modman, so if i was going to pick one that would probably be top of the list. It works with Thunderstore but you can manually add mods to it if they are on the local disk.

How will the steam deck handle mod managers like Vortex?
I've never used it but it has a Linux version apparently: https://github.com/ebkr/r2modmanPlus

Notes on running H3VR on Linux
R2ModMan works absolutely flawlessly, and because it runs natively it has no issues. I would recommend getting this from your package manager but the AppImage works fine. For some reason, at least in my experience modded H3 runs better on Linux, possibly due to the OS using less resources. I have not encountered any mod which does not work with Linux. If you are using Linux and encounter a bug in a mod, please ensure it is actually a bug with the mod before submitting a report to the author.

How have Updates been thus far!
I had 200ish or so in the game, when I decided to give mods a go. Best tip is probably to grab the mod manager and look around for yourself.

Can gaming mods made for windows be used on linux games?
Every risk of rain 2 mod iv used works and easy to install thanks to r2modmanplus being on Linux, the 3 mod packs for 7 days to die iv tried with my friends have worked on the native client just no mod manager like on windows, code vein mods work from the small amount of mods iv used, all monster hunter worlds mods iv tried worked, gta 5 depends on the mod you want some works others need tinkering to work other don't work at all, and minecraft I use Multimc. That's my moding experience
