FutureRestore-GUI VS ipwndfu

People here keep saying Futurestore is unavailable for Windows, only Linux or Mac, but I am finding installers for Windows like FutureRestore-GUI-Windows-1.98.3.msi here. Am I missing something?

Download VMware Workstation and Catalina.iso and install MacOS. Here you can find Catalina iso https://ibb.co/NmzzSM5 Then download Futurerestore GUI and install it. Off course you set the right nonse. Click download futurestore. Click Blobs Click Target Ipsw I used this as options, https://ibb.co/7ndkjqz And Click Start. Be patient and you get back your iPhone up or downgrade without losing anything. 👍🏼

install FutureRestore-GUI in your Mac

I had previously saved blobs for iOS 15.4.1, and after restoring rootfs (without enabling OTA updates), I used futurerestore-gui v1.98.2 to update the device. The computer I used was a 2021 Macbook Pro 14" running MacOS Ventura Beta 7.

Where I’m from it’s 2am and I’m already half asleep so my advice to you is, download both 15.7 and 15.4.1 .ipsws to get them ready, check futurerestore-gui github, and, if you understand completely what’s documented there, backup everything important (not a full itunes backup tho as it probably won’t work on an older version than the one it was created) and try to downgrade using 15.7 sep. You will need a Mac Or Linux PC to do this, no ipwndfu Windows Support. 1) Get Cryptiiiics fork of ipwndfu A11 here https://github.com/Cryptiiiic/ipwndfu/archive/A11-patch-rom.tar.gz and unzip it you will need to install python2 on Linux ( sudo apt install python2) and run "sudo python2 ipwndfu -p --patch" (Linux) or "sudo ./ipwndfu -p --patch" on Mac. Skip Python install on Mac, it comes with Python2 Out Of Box. Get Futurerestore GUI and Go into the setting (IMPORTANT) and choose to use Beta version of Futurerestore because 194 does not support Tsschecker 320. Enable showing the Command, this will be important because as of now the GUI version bugs out on "About to send NOR Data" when the ProgressBar is on around 80%. Then enable PWNED restore because you ran ipwndfu to run unsigned Firmwares. Then get your ipsw from ipsw.me and your Blobs (SHSH2) select them in the GUI. Leave SEP and BB on newest. IMPORTANT: This will BREAK FaceID on iOS 14, and select start Futurerestore but Only COPY the command and DO NOT run the Futurerestore script. Open a terminal window and Paste the command and let it do its thing. Thats it for iPhone 8 (+) users TouchID will work.
