FreeCAD Day 2023: Report and Continued Discussion
> It's been (mostly) solved in this dev branch
To be clear, it is not a dev branch, but RealThunder's Link branch (FreeCADLink is a fork of FreeCAD).
For topology naming, here is dev branch[0,1]

"conda create --name fcenv-dev --channel freecad/label/dev freecad" gives a UnsatisfiableError.
I fixed it by downloading the 7z file from here: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-Bundle/releases/tag/weekly-builds
- Is installing from freecad.org wiki safe? The downloader on the website won't start the download

FreeCAD 0.20 is out
The AppImage link on this page gives a 404 not found ... the correct link probably should be https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-Bundle/releases/download/0.20/FreeCAD_0.20-29177-2022-06-15-conda-Linux-x86_64-py39.AppImage

Display scale is not fit on 1366 x 768 or anything wrong?
Known HiDPI issue. Install v0.20dev and keep it up to date until the v0.20 release

Is freecadweb alright to download from?
That said, you may want to download directly from the weekly builds page ( https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-Bundle/releases/tag/weekly-builds ) as there are new features that aren't part of the official release yet. Though, even if you don't, and just download the 0.19 release, you'll be fine. It seems most tutorials out there are for 0.19 so you should be good to go learning it either way.

FreeCAD and undefined behavior in C++ code: meditation for developers
FreeCAD is a general-purpose parametric 3D computer-aided design (CAD) modeler. This open-source software application is based on C, C++, and Python. PVS-Studio doesn't support Python at the moment, so I will only check the C and C++ parts. Here is the link to the project code.

if any of you guys uses a 3d printer to make concrete molds, please give me the pdfs for them.
Hi! 3d printers read .stl files, generally. You can design your own files for free with FreeCAD in a relatively simple format before sending them to your slicer and printer. Out of personal experience, design a silicone component into your mold, as the hard plastic is unforgiving when de-molding. Good luck!
- is there anyway to specif that autosaves are stored in one central path?

Rocket Nosecone Modelling
Second Way: I don't use this second method as the first one already works for me. However, you can download FreeCAD, which is an OpenSourced Free to use software for many hobbyists. I personally think it's slightly trickier to get used to but it works! You can watch this video to model a nose cone in FreeCAD.
