Hey! I'm using a script from Unity's Fontainebleau demo to render a quad mesh with the the standard shader and emissive material. Then I turn up the diffusion up to 10 in the post processing stack's bloom, which gives it the soft glow. If your scene is small enough, you can simply parent the quad mesh to your main camera, otherwise you might have to use a second camera or shader to get it to render behind everything.

Mole Character Controller! (With multiplayer)
Right now I made a behavior called KCCMoventEngine it manages removing platforms, jumps, velocity, and gravity. Open-Source character controller and added visualizations for improved debugging and visualization
Ha, making a character controller is quite a bit more complex than expected. I didn’t mention this in the video but I actually only normalize the input vector if it’s length is greater than one. All the source code and models for the project are in a GitHub repo at https://github.com/nicholas-maltbie/OpenKCC All open source and under the mit license. The stairs and ramps were made using pro builder in unity but they are pretty simple to model I’m blender and I could send over any test models if you want them and I forgot to include in the repo.
