I Use Firefox
I use Firefox with the excellent https://github.com/black7375/Firefox-UI-Fix I discovered on HN.
I wish that Mozilla didn't bungle the UI for no reason, but here we are.

Switching from Chrome to Firefox? Here Are Some Tips
Highly suggest checking out Firefox-UI-Fix [1]. I use it everywhere I use Firefox, and it makes the browser usable.

Firefox has surpassed Chrome on Speedometer
I use Sidebery, with some modifications from https://github.com/black7375/Firefox-UI-Fix/wiki/Options

The new Edge design just looks like a rip of Firefox's design
Well, that's one more reason not to use Edge. Firefox's current design is terrible. Who thought that making tabs buttons was a good idea? Thank goodness for Firefox-UI-Fix.

YouTube has started blocking ad blockers
And someone made an easy-ish to install UI fix to stop it looking like ass: https://github.com/black7375/Firefox-UI-Fix
Lepton, Firefox-GX, SimpleFox, Cascade

Which Firefox Fork Is Your Favorite and Why?

Reddit just "recommended" me a community about the city of Bari, which I googled on Google Images yesterday for the first time in my life. How did it know?

Need help recreating an old Sidebery setup + general questions on vertical tab extensions
Firefox-UI-Fix has loads of other tweaks baked into the user.js, so you don't have to change userChrome/about:config all the time.

Any way to enable multiple tab rows in Waterfox G3.0.1 (64-bit)?
*Firefox multiple tab rows (works in 109.01 https://github.com/Izheil/Quantum-Nox-Firefox-Dark-Full-Theme/releases
- After seeing all the FF memes, this had to be said.

Why don't any browsers natively support multi-row tabs?
https://github.com/Izheil/Quantum-Nox-Firefox-Dark-Full-Theme now has a working patch for FF 101, even an installer. Golden. https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx is also very, very useful.

Google had a plan called “Project NERA” to turn the web into a walled garden
Check out an even better option (in my opinion): multi-row tabs

Anything similar to shadowfox but maintained?
I had forgotten about it earlier; you could try Quantum Nox: https://github.com/Izheil/Quantum-Nox-Firefox-Dark-Full-Theme . It is maintained, and has been updated for Proton.

Firefox 89 Proton Feedback Megathread
As for the rest of the UI I mainly relied on CustomCSSforFx by Aris-t2: https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx a bit of CSS from Quantum-Nox-Firefox-Dark-Full-Theme: https://github.com/Izheil/Quantum-Nox-Firefox-Dark-Full-Theme by Izheil and some CSS that I liked.

Firefox 89 Tab Appearance
https://github.com/Izheil/Quantum-Nox-Firefox-Dark-Full-Them...
It's a little more work, but it's doable. It's been stable and surviving updates without maintenance for months now.
Before switching to Tree Style Tab extension I was quite happy with customizations from https://github.com/Izheil/Quantum-Nox-Firefox-Dark-Full-Them... - they use Firefox beta to adjust css so once new Firefox version is released everything is ready from the get-go.
