Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

I loved XNA. Have you heard of FNA?
- Why is there a lack of cool repos?

MonoGame 3.8.1 is now available for all!
MonoGame is an open-source framework, a thin layer of abstraction over input, sound, and graphics APIs. MonoGame lets game developers write cross platform code that will run on desktop, mobile, and console devices. Many commercially successful indie games have been shipped using MonoGame, and it's similar frameworks XNA and FNA, since 2007. MonoGame is ideal for developers who don't want an engine to dictate their decisions and rather have more control in the development of their game. It has a lot of features for 2D already built-in, but doesn't have the type of features that Unreal or Unity have for 3D out of the box. MonoGame tries to get out of the developer's way by providing only the essentials: input, sound, and drawing to the screen.

People coming from Unity/Other engines, what do you miss the most?
However, the great thing about godot, is if you want a feature, like ECS, for example just add it yourself.
-
Coming from Unity? What can we do to help? What do you need?
You can try the fork called Godex, it has ECS built into it and is a lot of fun to use in my opinion.

C# games in Godot, 2022 edition
The only real FUD that has any basis is 1) The lack of good 3D support and 2) DOTS style architecture. These are things the community is addressing now for future releases.
The 3D support will be significantly overhauled in 4.x [1](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNJXkcQxXEg) and additional enhancements will reduce the need for DOTS/ECS for many. There's also Godex [2](https://github.com/GodotECS/godex) that adds ECS to the engine.
There is an ECS port for Godot named Godex, but it isn't hugely mature:
https://github.com/GodotECS/godex
I haven't used it, though I've been curious about it. As far as better options for ECS game engines go, I'd go with Bevy (personally), but you'll have to learn Rust (which I'm a proponent of anyway).
https://bevyengine.org/learn/book/introduction/
But both of these are still in "Beta", if that's even the proper term for their development cycle, at this point. They work, technically, but they could use some help, to my understanding.

Over 5 years of experience in Unity, seriously considering switching to Godot.
There is also a godot plugin named Godex that adds an actual efficient ECS system to Godot https://github.com/GodotECS/godex
-
How good/bad would Godot handle a Factorio type of game?
I would give Godex a shot, it is a build of Godot that has Entity Component System functionality which makes it possible to include more objects in your scene: https://github.com/GodotECS/godex
