The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Why studies like "Exceeding 1.5°C global warming could trigger multiple climate tipping points" come so late?
https://climatetippingpoints.info/2022/09/09/climate-tipping-points-reassessment-explainer/ > Earth system models have improved a lot in the past couple of decades, but many still lack processes and resolution necessary to fully incorporate tipping dynamics. Which climate models and where are they? I know this one (and referencing\referenced ones): https://github.com/NOAA-GFDL/ESM4/tree/ESM4. You need to know Fortran. I do, but it's millions of lines of code (so I haven't had time to go through it) and that is just one suit of models?
