The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

What is a C# API library that allows you to swap out analytic software as needed?
I hope this is the right place to ask this question because I feel this problem falls somewhere between the front and backend. Quick setup, I am the companies UX/UI Designer but I have knowledge of frontend development. My company is a small start-up of 12 people, mostly backend engineers. My coworkers have given me the task to find a C# API library that allows us to gather analytic data, but we can hot-swap analytic software without having to rewrite any code in between. The best example of what we are looking for is something like getanalytics.io but in C#. Thoughts?

Ask HN: Successful one-person online businesses?
Looks like they don't have time, but there's an open issue here: https://github.com/DavidWells/analytics/issues/96. I probably won't have time for awhile.. but on the off-chance you're interested in tackling it, I'd happily hook you up with a free Divjoy account in return ;)

Sliderland – Creative coding with 64 HTML sliders
Fun and simple, nice. I'd love to see the raw values presented using something like dat.gui, as well as basic play/pause/step controls.

How to Make a Pure CSS 3D Package Toggle
Before we ditch the use of dat.gui in our demo, let’s have a play with the size of our package. We want to check that our package remains centered while folding and flipping. In this demo, the package has a larger --height and the .scene has a dashed border.

Is it possible to check if a dat.gui interface is being interacted with?
I was wondering if you could check if a dat.gui interface is being interacted with. I have a hold and drag behaviour in my code that let's me rotate the camera. But there is a situation where I try to change a value in my interface by holding and dragging a sidebar and the camera rotates too.

Coming soon
Viewing the source for both pages shows a completely different build structure. toolband.com also has the developer name at the top of the file where as tool.army has none of that. The javascript files used are easily found using Google.

Are WebGL shaders the same as Unity shaders?
Well, there’s nothing built in that does that, you’d have to write it up yourself. It would definitely be more work than Unity but you could leverage something like https://github.com/dataarts/dat.gui to make it easier.

CSS in 3D: Learning to think in Cubes Instead of Boxes
You might have noticed that little panel in the top right for some of the demos we’ve covered. That’s dat.GUI. It’s a lightweight controller library for JavaScript that super useful for debugging 3D CSS. With not much code, we can set up a panel that allows us to change CSS variables at runtime. One thing I like to do is use the panel to rotate the plane on the X and Y-axis. That way, it’s possible to see how things are lining up or work on a part that you might not see at first.

Create a GUI Library with OpenGL?
Also, take a look at datGUI for a comparison with Dear ImGUI. https://github.com/dataarts/dat.gui
What are some alternatives?
When comparing analytics and dat.gui you can also consider the following projects:
imgui - Dear ImGui: Bloat-free Graphical User interface for C++ with minimal dependencies
form - jQuery Form Plugin
Joplin - Joplin - an open source note taking and to-do application with synchronisation capabilities for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.
stretchy - Form element autosizing, the way it should be
card - :credit_card: make your credit card form better in one line of code
Garlic.js - Automatically persist your forms' text and select field values locally, until the form is submitted.
Countable - Add live paragraph-, word- and character-counting to an HTML element.
