    For those not knowing what to do: Get the Anno 1800 Mod Loader, install it according to the README and follow the "How to Create a Patch for any XML File from the Game" tutorial and paste the contents from above in the assets.xml file you've created.

    I created the mods folder in the main folder and extracted the mods in there, also, I've installed anno1800-mod-loader v 0.8.6 an yet nothing happens ! Is this mod loader suppose to install something ? cuz I just copied two files and that was it.

    Version of the game and the modloader matters, but if you have the latest version of the game and you downloaded the latest modloader from GitHub https://github.com/xforce/anno1800-mod-loader/releases/download/v0.8.6/loader.zip - it should work. One thing to try is to verify all game files and then copy modloader DLLs again.

    Do you play with mods? Then first of all you have to install the latest modloaderfiles. Some mods are updated (like Spice-it-up) meanwhile, some like MAUG main mod still not and causing Anno to crash while loading. So update everything thats available, then load a save game which is from prior the GU14 update.
