The most reliable method for getting a mod to work from my expedience is grabbing an extra copy of DDLC from ddlc.moe. Alternatively, if you don’t want to do that every time you want to set up a new mod since it seems like this isn’t the first time you’ve had this problem, I would advise in getting a mod loader. If you mean how you can get the data yourself, you would first have to make yourself familiar with the deca tools to extract the data from the game. This can be a bit tricky.
