The most reliable method for getting a mod to work from my expedience is grabbing an extra copy of DDLC from ddlc.moe. Alternatively, if you don’t want to do that every time you want to set up a new mod since it seems like this isn’t the first time you’ve had this problem, I would advise in getting a mod loader. I found this unofficial Spanish translation with a quick google - if that's the translation you're using then the quetzal plushie would be peluchequetzal.gift and the coffee would be cafe.gift (I presume it would be the same in other translations).
