CyberChef from GCHQ: The Cyber Swiss Army Knife
I also discovered Ciphey. Neat little tool indeed, but it's being deprecated. It's mentioned in this issue[1] and being replaced with Ares[2]. Neither could decipher this strange encryption[3] I used it on :(

Email Obfuscation Rendered Almost Ineffective Against ChatGPT
Check Ciphey, I have used several times before and overall it’s great. https://github.com/Ciphey/Ciphey
- How do you identify common encodings?
- This is from the Netflix series Dark. I hope this isnt very hard to decrypt. I would love to see this cipher get decrypted. Also a good way of suggesting to watch this.

In CTFs, you'll often get a string of text to decode. Is there a good way to recognize how to decode it?
It can help you detect various encryption and encodings and even decrypt them. Ciphey

How do I install Ciphey on Windows 10?

tools for decrypting
if you're looking for something that would decrypt most well-known encodings/ciphers, there's ciphey. but no such thing exists to decrypt every known file type because, if it did, everyone would be using it.

Attacking Local Account Passwords
Let’s walk through a typical attack against the Administrator account using a popular tool, CrackMapExec.
- use of cme modules
-
Active Directory in CTFs
Attackers like to use crackmapexec to exploit Windows networks and machines. It can achieve various goals like enumerating users, cracking SMB shares, and injecting shellcode into memory.

Implied Trust Relationship Exploitation - Redbot Security
After gaining a local administrator NTLM password hash using SMB relay attacks, Redbot Security used the “CrackMapExec” tool to pass the local administrator hash to all systems and found multiple systems using the same password:

TOOL: ntlmrelayx2proxychains
ntlmrelayx2proxychains aims to connect the tool of the SecureAuthCorps' impacket suite, ntlmrelayx.py (hereafter referred to as "ntlmrelayx"), along with @byt3bl33d3r's tool, CrackMapExec (hereafter referred to as "CME"), over proxychains, developped by haad.

Awesome Penetration Testing
CrackMapExec - Swiss army knife for pentesting networks.

Mapping AD
Regarding network shares, I personally tend to use crackmapexec with a list of systems. It won't list the ACLs but it is very good at finding out what a standard domain user could access (if this is what you are after) https://github.com/byt3bl33d3r/CrackMapExec
