Spotify HiFi is still MIA after three years, and now so is my subscription
I looked into swapping to Apple Music before but couldn't find a way to play lossless music on Linux making swapping pointless. Apparently[0] decryption for lossless isn't supported for 3rd party clients.
Anyone know of a way around this?

How iTunes Is Changing on PC
It's basically a open source frontend for Apple Music that works on Linux and Windows. It's what I use to listen to my Apple Music songs on Linux, and it's amazing.

- Cider: Alternative Apple Music Player
- Apple Music/Windows 11 still completely sucks!

Apple Music MacOs App

AM UI alternative on MacOS?
Are there any alternatives to the Music.app for MacOS, similar to Cider for Windows?
-
Is there a Windows client?
I would recommend Cider: https://cider.sh/

Apple needs to redesign the desktop app
If you’re on windows. check this out. It’s a beautiful design and works just as good as you’d expect it to
-
The same could be said about video game launchers
apple music will do up to 192khz 24bit on iPhone and the interface is pretty nice, you can listen at spotify quality (320kbps?) on pc with Cinder which also has a pretty good interface
-
We need a more intuitive and modern AM desktop client
I agree. For now, try this: https://cider.sh

Scrobbling multiple artists on Apple Music (iOS)
I found a great desktop app for Windows (Apple Music Electron) which lets me scrobble only using the first artist before a comma (,) or ampersand (&) so that Burial & Four Tet counts as a Burial scrobble. And that’s great!
-
Has anyone here switched from Spotify to Apple Music? If so, what is your experience with the switch?
You can try 3rd party app Apple Music Electron . Official Windows app is iTunes but everyone knows it is dog poo.
-
More control over artists to scrobble [last.fm]
I’d like to emulate the Spotify scrobbling method which only takes the first artist listed in each song (the main artist) the following. The desktop client I use for Apple Music (Apple Music Electron) already does this by identifying commas (,) and ampersands (&) as splitters so that DJ Snake, Rick Ross & Rich Brian would scrobble as a DJ Snake song.

Apple appears to hit goal of making entire Apple Music catalog available in Lossless by year’s end

[$15] [14.8] Musixmatch synced lyrics with English translations in Apple Music lockscreen, notification center
Love the look of Lyrication but it's a shame that it doesn't support translations for the synced lyrics. This should help with creating the tweak: https://github.com/ciderapp/Apple-Music-Electron/blob/master/resources/lyrics/musixmatch.html So for example synced lyrics that are in Japanese would show in English and musixmatch does this automatically.
