New Chromium for CasparCG
Please see https://github.com/CasparCG/server/issues/1235 for updates on development regarding the chromium version. Version 95 should be in the next release (IIRC a release hasn't been done since that was merged but I could be wrong)

Entry level playout system
You should look into Sofie. It's "channel in a box" type automation software based on CasparCG. Setup may be a bit challenging, but they do provide fairly comprehensive installation and getting started instructions, and it seems to be very user friendly once it's up and running
