Express application that converts files to HTML with pandoc and serves the results, with a dashboard.

The TODO file in the repo[1] is fascinating.

I think this is being overblown.

It appears to me that Apple and/or Gruber style article just happen to trigger the flame war dector that HN has implemented to demote such posts.

Why can’t you read it? The Guardian is pretty open. Even if on this one I get a banner asking to register, I can just click “I’ll do it later” and continue.

They even say it’s not a paywall. But even it were, those are still acceptable on HN, as per the FAQ¹:

When I queried using the term, it seemed to perform well, listing 13 results on a singular page. [1] All have the term [2]

Stories that are dead do not show up though.

For date ranges, there should be a pull down box up the top of the search page. I prefer to just get all by date and page to older entries as far as I need.

After some time, they actually issued the bills of the new fake money that magically got real (pun fully intended).

Here in Argentina we had almost simultaneity the "Convertibility Plan" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convertibility_plan One (AR)Peso equal to One (US)Dollar. It was successful to reduce the inflation but it was hard to drop the peg later and it caused a lot of problems.

The current government is "crawling peg", of 2% reduced recently to 1%, so people does not get attached to a magic number. (It may be brilliant or a disaster, we will know in 10 years.)
