BigBag XKB: space key generates keysym 0x0
I hope that someone can help me with the a problem using the XKB Colemak layouts from https://github.com/DreymaR/BigBagKbdTrixXKB. I am using Ubuntu MATE 20.04, and have configured qwerty and vanilla Colemak UK layouts in the MATE preferences. My XKB options include the Extend layer (triggered on Left Windows key) and swapping Caps Lock with Left Control.

What would you use to do QMK like customization to a Linux laptop keyboard?
DreymaR's Big Bag of XKB tricks implements an Extend layer with XKB (I haven't tried it tho)
