If you have a laptop with a webcam you can try this: https://github.com/lucidcode/LucidScribe-Halovision - use the motion-detection algorithm and it should play an audio alarm if you move into the field of vision of the camera. I have an old Android version floating around somewhere as well. Let me know if you need help getting it running.
