Honestly, it's a bit silly of autohotkey.com to have such strict protections, especially on its downloads. You may be able to workaround by using the github releases instead which are far less restrictive.

Is there a plugin to create a shortcode for strings of text? All the plugins I saw seem to be for emojis only?

What is the best general programming languages to learn
a not quite as general purpose alternative to python is lua. it is popular for adding customization to existing software like neovim (there are ready to use configs for better experience like lazyvim or astrovim) or autohotkey (if you're on windows).

Does anybody have issues with AutoKey (GNU/Linux) with GNU/Emacs?
I do think that the bug report on https://github.com/autokey/autokey/issues/763 is quite profound. In case you did not follow that link, you might have too few information about my issue, that's true.

emacs has ruined my navigation in other apps
I feel that! My first task in any new (Linux) environment is to set up Emacs keys just about everywhere I can. You can do that with GTK setting for some places, otherwise I like https://github.com/autokey/autokey (there are some "emacs everywhere" settings floating around, I have some I think only locally I could share) or directly in a WM if you can. For instance, I have that set in StumpWM quite nicely, so things like C-s is search in Firefox, M-w, M-y for cut/paste, and so on. But there are already good built-in defaults for some text areas in GTK/terminals/etc. too.
