Automatic enabling HDR
I've just discovered https://github.com/Codectory/AutoActions which detects when a user-defined process starts and can toggle HDR on, then back off again when it exits. I've gone through the list at https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/List_of_games_that_support_high_dynamic_range_display_(HDR)) to add entries for all the HDR-capable titles that I have installed.

PSA: Playnite Launcher has a "HDR Mode" per game!
For anyone with any of the myriad of HDR monitors that prefers to leave desktop mode in SDR RGB, I just discovered that the excellent Playnite game launcher has a feature where you can enable HDR on a per-game basis. Simply tick the "Enable HDR support" option under "Advanced" tab for the settings of the games that you want HDR turned on for. I was previously using the now-abandoned AutoActions for this, so glad to see there's an alternative in a tool I already use.

UW Moonlight Emulation Streaming to Steam Deck - Resolution Help
This is what I've been using, although I don't have an ultrawide monitor. I mainly use it to change it from 1440p to 1080p https://github.com/Codectory/AutoActions

Remote streaming for Moonlight + Sunshine + Moondeck + TunnelDeck + Wireguard + Autoactions (HDR on/off + auto screen resolution)
Together with https://github.com/Codectory/AutoActions/releases/tag/1.9.19 AutoActions, by looking for when Moondeckstream application starts and ends, I can set the desktop resolution to automatically change to the Deck's 1280x800, and TURN OFF HDR. When Moondeckstream exits, it reverts all settings seamlessly.

13900K and Windows 10?
I've tried using W11 half a year ago, trying to open sound setting resulted in settings option indefinitely freezed, no "current audio playing" tab when changing volume/playing next track, disgusting mobile/tablet UI and some other performance issues (vbs, TPM and core Isolation disabled after installing W11) that I really don't miss after getting back to W10 just to compare performance. Also, there's AutoHDR https://github.com/Codectory/AutoActions/releases/tag/1.6.2 that fixes W10 wonkiness and vibranceGUI https://vibrancegui.com/ to adjust program specific vibrance.

NVIDIA DLSS: 200 Games & Apps Now Available! Even More To Come, Including The Lord of the Rings: Gollum & Steelrising
AutoActions will turn on and off HDR on a per game basis with profile settings. Very handy little program!

FYI you can press "Win + Alt + B" to enable/disable HDR on Windows.
Also check out Auto Actions, an excellent little program that can automatically turn on HDR (and do a few other things) when a certain program starts, and then turn it off when the program exits.
- Auto HDR / AutoHDR for Windows really REALLY good TIPS... MUST SEE to Improve HDR..!

Time to make a server
My OpenVPN solution is a pfSense plugin, but I run WireGuard in an always-on Windows Server 2016 Proxmox VM and just port forward incoming WireGuard connections to it. I didn't configure WireGuard on Windows manually, I used this tool which made it all point-and-click simplicity.

Remote streaming for Moonlight + Sunshine + Moondeck + TunnelDeck + Wireguard + Autoactions (HDR on/off + auto screen resolution)
The only problem is Wireguard is pretty hard to configure for newbies, but thankfully there's a simple automation process here for Windows: https://github.com/micahmo/WgServerforWindows

WireGuard Server on Windows - Best way
https://github.com/micahmo/WgServerforWindows will most properly do this for you. Then you need to limit the clients so they can only access public IP's (no LAN IP's). I guess Windows Defender Firewall needs to be involved if need security. Eg. Not only configure internet-only access on the client, but enforcing it on the server-side. If the client are kind and only wants to access internet then you can configure it with AllowedIPs
just use https://github.com/micahmo/WgServerforWindows for windows deployment it fixes all quirks with ICS, have it on one server persisted through windows updates and all nasty stuff (power outage etc)
