So Cryptic put a Starfleet logo on Razer keyboards during login screen…or at least they tried.
It might be possible to do it using Project Aurora / git hub, an opensource 3rd party rgb middleware that tries to juggle the various proprietary APIs.

Ask HN: What lesser-known accessories do you use with your computer?
I have a Roccat Vulcan 120 RGB keyboard which has a sweet volume knob on it. Don't use the software that comes with it though. I use Project Aurora[1] to control the lights on the keys. I'm able to program color/fx/animation per key per program that has focus. It's useful if you have new software or a game you're not used to. For example, you can highlight all the relevant keys to help you memorize them.
But mainly I use it to play an audio waveform of any music that's playing. And highlight caps lock whenever it's on.

hi ! i would like to synchronise my led setup
Check 3rd party apps like project aurora: https://www.project-aurora.com/ or OpenRGB: https://openrgb.org/
- Here is a demo of my "functional rgb" setup
- Armoury Crate is pure bloatware!!!

The profile system is frustrating me
Similarly, I use Aurora RGB for keyboard lighting as, again, it's far more customisable and easier to use overall...

What's stopping you from getting a Razer keyboard now?
You can get this working with either Aurora or Artemis and a Chroma plugin on any RGB Logitech keyboard (and many others too). I personally switched to Artemis, as it's more popular project nowadays, but a bit less user-friendly than Aurora.

One spot has a different color.
I only knew about https://www.project-aurora.com/ which partly supports the Legion 7 (only the keyboard) but runs on top of iCue
-
Saw this somewhere in past and tried to replicate it on my GL65
I personally have only tried it with Steelseries, but it's in the list of supported brands.

- No keyboard? No problem. You can now use Bazecor without it! 😎

Prototype: Auto-activate mouse layer on mouse movement
Cool project! I have absolutely no use for it, but I appreciate ever, modification and extension for the Raise. Did you know there is an API that let's you easily switch layers? Maybe it is even easier to use than your hack with the numlock state. I used it in the past to switch layers by using a midi pedal board. You can find general information on the API here: https://github.com/Dygmalab/Bazecor/blob/development/FOCUS_API.md

New Bazecor 1.0.0 Beta 12: Squashing Superkey's bugs 🐛
Fixed a bug in the keyboard menu where LED Off and LED Next buttons were swapped. LED Off would trigger LED Next and vice-versa (thanks Bryan Kenote for fixing this).

New Bazecor 1.0.0 Beta 10 has arrived 🚆
They even have a folder for unit tests, added 3 years ago, but there's nothing in it. 🙈
We've merged the beta code with the main branch in Github.
