Depends on model/vendor of your laptop, maybe there is a driver for it. E.g. for ASUS there is AsusSMC.

No one will help you further if you dismiss everything because it "only shows confusing stuff". Read the guides, search, and ask specific questions if you don't understand something.

I'm trying to use the patches supplied by the guide. Tried copy pasting the patch as a new file in MaciASL and it didn't work.

Battery life is not great, but I haven't checked what can be done to improve it yet. - USB tethering from an Android phone as a workaround for having Wi-Fi since iOS only allows to do USB tethering with mobile data. This isn't true, trulyspinach has a power management kext for AMD that brings performance to pretty much being identical to Windows with the Core Performance Boost feature. Or you can just force the CPU into the P0 state. https://github.com/trulyspinach/SMCAMDProcessor/releases

I've tried playing around with the SMCAMDProcessor, but not had any luck. This is same with Cinebench
