Windows Configuration Designer WITHOUT Changing the Device Name?
I use ppkg with SCCM and imaging so I can join to Azure but continue to image like normal. I start the ppkg and fill out what I can (mainly to get the bulk enroll token) and then switch to advanced so I don't have to set a name. If I set a name, it fails after imaging because of the restart the ppkg name change requires. Not sure if you're using SCCM or MDT to image devices (I wish we weren't but for some reason we are moving devices to Intune school by school, so we are over a year into the transition, lol). If you are, I have a script that checks if the device is already enrolled, if so, it just updates the device name in Autopilot using the Graph API and restarts to OOBE; otherwise, it applies the name from the task sequence and uses DISM to apply the ppkg.
What are some alternatives?
Powershell_CICD_repository - This tool greatly simplifies Windows administrator life by automating the whole scripting content lifecycle. So the boring stuff like backuping, syntax checking, code formatting, content distribution or deletion will be automated and only thing left will be the code writing :)
Intune-Application-Packaging-Wrapper - This script can be used to build an installation, uninstallation and detection script to deploy applications through a software-deployment-system like Microsoft Intune
AsBuiltReport.VMware.vSphere - Repository for AsBuiltReport VMware vSphere module
TeamViewerPS - TeamViewerPS allows to interact with the TeamViewer Web API as well as a locally installed TeamViewer client.
AsBuiltReport.Veeam.VBR - Repository for AsBuiltReport Veeam Backup & Replication module
mggraph-intune-samples - Repository to hold Microsoft Intune script samples for the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK
