Which OS do you prefer to use Neovim in?
i have archwsl but honestly there are minimal problems on windows for me so I really don't bother using wsl over just dual booting

Arch in WSL
Don't use it anymore but used it for a number of years after WSL came out. It involved some combination of https://github.com/yuk7/ArchWSL and Xming X. Worked great.

My company forces me to use Cringedows, what can I do to suffer less?
• If you live in the linux terminal, I recommend installing WSL with a distro you like (I use arch here btw).

WSL - Microsoft Linux
It uses a customized version of the Linux kernel (repo) that integrates with the host Windows OS. You can build any distro on top of that kernel, as people have done with (of course) Arch. The distro isn't any less "real" than a distro that it run on QEMU (and with a level 1 hypervisor, all systems that uses one are technically virtualized already).

Does Visual Studio 2022 exist on Arch Linux?
Yes but you have to run visual studios in a windows virtual machine qemu/kvm/virtmanager Then pass virtual studio window to your desktop so it runs like it is native https://github.com/Fmstrat/winapps optional Then use winapps to make a desktop and application launcher menu entry/icon

There's something called winapps which works over RDP, but you better have good specs so you get good performance. I recommend using parsec with a VM if you can passthrough a seperate GPU otherwise. https://github.com/Fmstrat/winapps

ManjaroWSL - Manjaro for WSL2 using wsldl
cassowary - Run Windows Applications on Linux as if they are native, Use linux applications to launch files files located in windows vm without needing to install applications on vm. With easy to use configuration GUI
wsl-distrod - Distrod is a meta-distro for WSL 2 which installs Ubuntu, Arch, Debian, Gentoo, etc. with systemd in a minute for you. Distrod also has built-in auto-start feature on Windows startup and port forwarding ability.
