AndrOBD (version V2.5.4): Connect to your car's OBD system

AndrOBD is a free & open-source Android app for OBD2 diagnostics, that works with any ELM327 compatible adapter. It also supports plugins and it's my favourite OBD2 app because it's the only good one being FOSS.
From reading issues (i'm not a dev), I believe that Gauges were implemented in Kotlin (Issue 112)

Would it be possible to make an open source car operating system?
For Obd2 diagnostics i use and recommend the only free & open source android app AndrOBD. it supports my ObdLink MX (since it's elm compatible) and displays information like Obdlink proprietary app would and has some extra functionality. It just needs a more modern UI imo... and the dev. said any help is welcome. also anyone can make new plugins etc.

What are the coolest FOSS apps you can think of?

-
Best FOSS apps that are not well known?
AndrOBD - highly recommended. The only good functioning FOSS app that connects to the car's diagnostic system through an OBD2 adapter, if you want to diagnose your car for problems, sensor information etc. Also has a demo mode (if you deny adapter connection) so you can see what it sees from your car without needing anything. See project page for more info

Looking for an open-source project to contribute
AndrOBD is a great open source app that you can use to diagnose problems with your car or view many sensors, info etc. it connects to the car's diagnostic port via OBD2, but the UI is very basic. compared to other obd2 proprietary apps. and dev is looking for someone to help with UI / UX.
-
What in development FOSS apps/projects are you exicted about?
AndrOBD- Connect to your car's OBD2 port and do diagnostics, view data, clear codes etc.

How to Implement Feature Flags in Node.js using Unleash
Unleash (Feature Flags)
-
Show HN: A self-hosted and open-source feature flags platform
This pretty much looks like Unleash.
-
KILLSWITCH
So my first instinct is to setup some sorta feature-flag thing within a CMS so managers can flip the boolean, I'm exploring getunleash.io and GrowthBook.io and we already use Contentful.com within the app but they're saying they "really don't think we need to use any third party thing for a killswitch"...
-
Show HN: We built an open-source LaunchDarkly alternative for B2Bs
Unleash is also open source (Apache 2.0 License). Repo is at https://github.com/Unleash/unleash . Would be interested in knowing the feature differences between the two as they are both Node / Typescript projects

Unleash Flutter SDK v1.0
Awesome news, Unleash - free and open-source feature flag solution, just got a Flutter SDK, with help from the Flutter community!

Need your opinion
We are an Open Source Feature Flagging solution called Unleash, and we are looking to get some feedback from the community on a decision we are trying to make. We are considering offering our developers the option to either write technical content through a Community Content Program for us for a $200 fee, or to donate that amount to charity.

We create an open-source feautre flag sytem to help release faster and safe
Pros/cons in comparison to https://github.com/Unleash/unleash for example? (Baked in GitLab)

100% open-source feature flags & feature management platform with .NET and FeatBit
Interesting. What are the advantages (and disadvantages) over something like Unleash (https://github.com/Unleash/unleash)?

How we use analytics as a privacy focused OSS company
TLDR: Privacy is really important for us at Unleash. Here you will find the full story on how we ended up with an analytics solution that does not collect personal data and has very short retention. Whenever we evaluate a new feature at Unleash, we always start with one question. How does this fit with our values? This question is powerful. It can quickly qualify or disqualify a feature from consideration, putting some amount of work in an explore further bucket and some amount of work in a forget about it bucket.
