2022 Dec 19 Stickied -FAQ- & -HELPDESK- thread - Boot problems? Power supply problems? Display problems? Networking problems? Need ideas? Get help with these and other questions!
The software I used is WeeWx, but I modified the code (itβs open source) to show what I wanted it to show. It should be easy enough for you to modify it to collect data from your local bus/train stations instead of weather reports. Also look at this post and this software, it may help point you in the right direction for software to use to display (I canβt really think of any way to run 2 actual webpages on 2 different displays without slowing it down significantly, which is why I suggest using software dedicated to that use case)

Autostarting with OpenCV

programm with gui but without OS
I use the BLEAK toolkit for Python and Bluetooth as my sensors are GATT servers. All data is sent over BLE broadcasts. Your sensors may be different (I would expect they are) as they could be giving a constant stream of data out. With luck they are not encrypted but here you could be on your own unless someone else has used them before. Starting up a program is documented in the cron and boot PDFs by Thagrol here - these are the no. 1 goto for this on the Pi.
Starting a program under Linux automatically at boot is a piece of cake (see a PDF here).

Have a look at the NAS notes here (NAS.pdf section 6) to see how to set up a file share with security.
