ADA for reliable 2D game
Unfortunately, Ada is not used for professional game development, but it will probably help a single developer to develop a bug-free game more than C++. For a 2D game, one good option as toolkit is the binding to SFML.

Audio Library for Ada
Have you followed the instructions in ASFML to make it work? The easiest way is to import the library using Alire.

What Did You Work On in 2021?
I resurrected an abandoned binding to SFML and updated it to version 2.5. I finally made so many changes to the Ada API, that I can consider it my own work, and have the joy to see it used by other people.

December 2021 What Are You Working On?
A new bugfix release of ASFML: https://github.com/mgrojo/ASFML/releases/tag/v2.5.2
I'm still working on my Civilization-style game. Most of it has now been expanded to include a complete ASFML/SFML branch. Scrolling and selecting with the mouse, general input, better menus, better display of the world map, initial display of the city map, graphic adjustments when changing the window, control of the units, a simple research menu and more now runs via the ASFML/SFML. I also split the logic and graphics part into two different tasks and improved the English translation. Still a lot of work to do until it can be sold, but things are moving forward.

Which GUI for an Ada desktop application do you recommend?
