locate proxychains
You should use proxychains4, you can build it yourself https://github.com/rofl0r/proxychains-ng, I like using sshuttle project, kinda like a pseudovpn https://github.com/sshuttle/sshuttle

Why my proxy file didn't have anything? I'm new to linux. I don't really understand how to explain my problem. Everytime I watched guide on how to setup proxy theirs always have a bunch of 'things' in proxychains.conf but mine just didn't show up. Sorry for bad English.
In the source code of proxychains-ng, there is the basic proxychains.conf file. You could use that.
